Not all returns are treated the same.
 
Padem Limited fully comply with all legal requirements under both the Sale of Goods Act 1979 & the Distance Selling Regulations. In the UK you have rights under the Distance Selling Regulations with regards to Internet purchases.
 
Distance Selling Regulations (DSRs) state that a 7 day period from the day after the delivery date should be allowed for returns.
We offer a 30 day period for returns, that is 30 days from the date of delivery. This is above and beyond what the DSRs state and an assurance to you that we take customer service as a priority.
 
Your responsibilities
You must take reasonable care of the item(s)
whilst they are in your possession.
 
Padem Returns policy
We offer a 30 day period for returns, that is 30 days from the date of delivery.
Returns must be made in suitable packaging and in the same condition as they were delivered.
 
This is above and beyond what the law states and an assurance to you that we take customer service as a priority.
 
Damages MUST be reported within 7 Days of receiving delivery.
Most sellers only offer 24 to 72 hours to report damages.
We understand there are different circumstances so we offer an extended period.
We view this as a reasonable amount of time for you to have checked for damages.
Refunds & returns will not be accepted for damaged items reported after 7 days of receiving delivery.
 
All returns are sent back at the buyers cost.
We can arrange the return if you wish.
No additional payment is required; the cost of the collection will be deducted from your original payment.
If the goods are delivered to you damaged we will collect them free of charge.
 
You are obliged to take reasonable care of the item.
We will accept the return if the item has been kept in the condition in which it was received.
 
This does not affect your right to inspect the items upon receipt.
We will issue you a full refund of the money you have paid (including original shipping costs to send the item to you, where applicable).
Please note that you will be responsible for any return shipping costs to send the item back to us.
If you would like us to collect the item we can provide a cost for this service upon request.
 
Items are damaged
You must inform us in writing of any damages within 7 days of receiving your items.
We view this as a reasonable amount of time for you to have checked for damages.
 
We will not be able to accept returns for damaged items if you have not informed us in writing within 7 days.
If you have bought the items as a gift or do not plan to use the items until a later date, you MUST still inspect the items for damages and report the damage in writing within 7 days as per our returns policy.
We will require images of the damage in order to assess the the cause and severity before we can issue free replacement parts.
Images can be sent through the eBay messaging system or to office@padem.co.uk
 
We will replace the individual parts where possible, you don’t need to return the whole item.
If the damage cannot be rectified by replacing the individual parts then we will offer a full replacement or refund.
 
Free Courier Insurance
As a top performing supplier we give you free insurance against damage to your product caused by couriers at no additional charge, your purchase automatically comes with this insurance.
To make use of it - you MUST check the boxes on delivery BEFORE signing for it, if there is any sign of damage to the boxes you must sign the drivers sheet as
DAMAGED.
 
DO NOT SIGN BEFORE CHECKING THE BOXES.
If you do not sign DAMAGED you have accepted the delivery as being in perfect condition.
Signing Unchecked or Check Later is not acceptable and is the same as signing perfect.
Please be aware the moment you sign for the goods as not being damaged, the insurance is cancelled.
You are obliged to take reasonable care of the item.
We will accept the return if the item has been kept in the condition in which it was received.
We cannot accept part built items.
All items must be dismantled and repackaged before being returned.
 
Delivery Discrepancies
Any discrepancies must be reported within 24hrs of delivery.
Missing items on delivery: Please check all goods that are delivered to you and only sign for the items you have received.
For example; if the delivery note shows 3 items being delivered but you only receive 2 you must write "only 2 items received"
We cannot be held liable for missing goods that have been signed for as received.
 
Refunds
Although the law recommends refunds to be processed within 28 days, we aim to refund you as soon as possible. It is very rare for a refund to take longer than 7 days, most refunds are completed within 1 - 3 days.
We will refund you using the same method as the original payment was received.
For example if you paid by PayPal we will refund you via PayPal.
