No luck with any driver pack, Baud rates, etc. Nada. Nothing but the infamous "Cannot read frequency". I tried on three different laptops, zilch. Found this seller and liked what I saw. Thought I'd give it a shot. First time connecting the cable my Win10 Home OS installed the very latest drivers, the exact same ones I'd tried with the other "Authentic Chip" cables.
