They thoughtfully had installed a screen protector. And if I lose yet another iPhone, I'll be back with Ideal Mobile.

I contacted the seller, and they told me I could add "must be OEM unlocked" in the note-to-seller box at checkout on ebay. I sent the first phone back for a full refund, and the second phone they sent me was exactly what I needed. I'm very grateful for their help through this process.
