The action-packed anime TENJHO TENGE utilizes the standard elements of the popular shounen (boy's show) series: martial combat and ecchi (brief nudity and sexuality). Souichiro and Bob arrive as new students to Toudou Academy, believing they will quickly become the most popular guys around because of their superior fighting skills. Little do they realize that, unlike their previous school, Toudou is filled with excellent fighters, especially a group of girls eager to trounce the newcomers to teach them some respect. Volume One contains the first two episodes of the series. In these episodes, Souichiro and Bob learn the ways of their new school, encountering the Junken Club's Natsume sisters as well as the central figures of the Student Executive Council.
