It can stretch up to an inch but you will need every bit of that to get complete coverage and a degreaser is a must or it won't stick. Appearance looks really good but value isn't there considering you're just short of $200. I personally wouldn't buy if I had it to do over. It's really good though and cheaper than new plastics if you're just looking to cover cracked fenders like i was.
