However, I have a lot of 120 negatives from my Mamiya 645 that have an orientation that is different from most other medium format systems. I decided to buy the dedicated scanner and glad I did. I had a problem understanding how to mount my 55mm macro to it. Reached out to the seller and had an answer almost immediately. Rare to find that level of customer support these days!

The included spacers mean that it can be used with different focal length macro lenses. I found it to be very stable when my Sony A7 was mounted on it. No fear of it tipping over. I have some very old negatives from the 1920's and can use this to scan them into a digital archive. One thing to be aware of. If you have a Mamiya 645 camera, you might be better off buying the Cumulus scanner made for its orientation.
