You get to relive the web-slinging action from the box office hit movie Spider-Man 2 and take on the heinous Doctor Octopus in this Treyarch Studios Activision game while you play as Peter Parker’s famous alter ego. Even if you’ve never seen the film, you can enjoy sliding into the story of Peter Parker in this game, who, after being bitten by a radioactive spider, became the amazing Spider-Man. Fans of the movie will notice that this ultimate GameCube version of Spider-Man 2 lets you enjoy the real voices of the movie’s characters, like Tobey Maguire cracking jokes as Spider-Man, plus Kirsten Dunst as MJ and Alfred Molina as Doc Ock. You get to swing, leap, and run through a living metropolis, complete with traffic and pedestrians who also chat and crack jokes while finding plenty of upgrades and crime to fight. This action-adventure Spider-Man game is a one-player version, and it has a rating of “T” for teen due to depictions of some violence. You can challenge friends and family members to a competition by taking turns, or set up a second console to play your own version at the same time.
