The loop balance and resulting null is very good with no signs of unbalance between either side of the loop. The preamp circuit seems to be low noise and not a hissing steam train. I would recommend this product. Within its frequency range it outperforms the AOR LA400. Living within in sighting distance of the 621 and 774khz AM towers there was no evidence of IMD in the receiver or preamp on/off.
