The cable delivered to me has a solid center conductor. Since I am using this cable in a fixed location, it is not a deal breaker. I changed out the N connectors for PL-259 ("UHF") connectors. Installing soldered on connectors to this cable is made more difficult as foil is bonded to the dielectric insulator.
