Be advised: This model is not compatible with GMRS frequencies -except- to receive (HA1G is the model for GMRS). Product description is accurate; I overlooked that portion where it is unable to TX on those bands for emergency use. I wish additional batteries were available for purchase, but I was unable to find any on their website, nor their eBay page at the time of this review. USB-C charging worked well.

Both units have a serious frequency bleed-over issue. I have the repeater set to 462.625 MHz, but when transmitting, I can clearly hear the carrier and audio on every other channel. I tested the range of this bleed-over and was able to hear it a full mile from the repeater. This is a major problem, and Retevis’s proposed solution is to send me capacitors to solder in myself. This seller was no help
