I was pleased to find this purchase was at a much lower replacement cost and it's new and hasn't been refurbished. That said the watch arrived in perfect condition and the same quality as the original. The real test will be the battery life because sometimes they vary. Example, my husband and I each own one of the same series/model and mine didn't hold a charge on long hikes, but my husband's did.
