With the conquest of Earth failing, Emperor Bog and Dr. Damage subject the butt-ugly Martians to a diabolical "Bog-stacle" course, designed to test the abilities of B. Bop, 2-T and Do-Wah. Players navigate eight specific obstacle-filled missions, each with three levels for both solo and multiplayer action, and earn points by accomplishing a variety of tasks. Some games are timed affairs, while others measure specific skills such as reflexes, dodging, driving, butt-kicking, Martian-to-ship combat, eye-hand coordination, target blasting, or a combination of abilities.<br><br>The major objective is to reach a final rank of "Martian Fighting Force" by accumulating 105,000 points at Level 3 in a one-player game or 169,400 in a two-player game. Points are scaled down for Level 1 and Level 2 gameplay in each rank, with lesser ranks of "Mushy Martian" and "Bloatworm Bait" awaiting players who fail to "be the best." Martian Boot Camp accommodates two player competition with either turn-based or competitive action on all missions, and offers a mini-game (Rinko's Catch a Match) that involves wagering points.<br><br>Enemies from the Universal Studios' licensed animated television series include Humanga, Jax the Conqueror, Infi-knight 5000, Gorgon, and Lt. Penkham, as well as obstacle mayhem in the form of robot fighters, asteroids, traffic jams, laser cannons, and more. An on-disk color manual provides detailed objectives for each game, including specific controls for one or two-player action, a matrix depicting possible points by level and type of game, a list and description of obstacles, power-ups, medal awards, and definitive screenshots.
