    If you know anything about antennas, you’ll know that VHF communication is very much defined by LOS/Near LOS pathing and how you site the antenna. So as for the antenna itself - the quality of build is as good as it can be given how it’s constructed and vendor makes effort to ensure consistency on all fronts. I’ve only used it hung from a curtain rail indoors and it performs as the antenna type would be indoors - as a true resonant antenna it’s the step up from wideband antennas as expected.
