As for linking up the Apple TV A1218 to your television, you conveniently have several options including HDMI, optical audio, and component video cables. To enjoy movies and TV shows at high definition resolutions like 720p and 1080p, you need to ensure you’re connecting to high-definition widescreen televisions capable of supporting these higher resolutions. Apple TV is compatible with a range of TV manufacturers, including but not limited to Sharp, Toshiba, NEC, and LG. There’s also no concerns about being able to watch movies and TV shows, since the device supports videos purchased from the iTunes Store, as well as ones in H.264, up to 1280p, and MPEG-4, up to 720p, formats. Your library of music is no different and you can enjoy tracks in formats such as AAC, protected AAC, WAV, and MP3.
