I bought it as an acceptable alternative to a Bird 43 since Bird elements have gotten so expenstive. It was slightly off on its readings on 144.200 MHz, 222.1 MHz and 432.1 MHz, but easy to calibrate using a manual I printed off the web. I have been an amateur radio operator for more than 55 years so calibration was no problem and should be something a moderately experienced ham could handle.

Packing was like unwrapping a brand new machine. I love it. I’m confident it will work as it’s supposed to but as for a Victrola record machine that is something each customer must research for themselves to see if it is what they are looking for.
