  The PVR/Set Top Box is quite a versatile device, I purchased it to record free to Air TV and it can record but you need to use your own USB drive. It was very inexpensive when compared to other PVRs and you can even us it to receive satellite programs as long as you have a dish pointed at the correct satellite. I think it is very good value but its instructions are very poor and non existent when it comes to recording and play back. Overall I'd give it about a 7 out of 10.

  The seller was OK but the product was not as good as I expected. My main concern was that the brightness was significantly darker than the normal TV setting. I tested both HDMI and AV outputs and they had similar darkness issues. The other issue I had was that the unit was physically very tiny.
