    This an excellent Mod for the FT-1000D for any owner that has a 1000D with fading VFD. The quality is excellent, and once installed the appearance on the 1000D is outstanding. I think its great value for money, and money well spent. Andy offers great communication and these are brand new. It's not a 100% replica of the original VFD, but very close and is far nicer to look at in my opinion. Requires soldering and de-soldering skills but worth the 2 to 3 hour effort. Very happy.

    I received the driver board much quicker than I expected. The board fit into place perfectly. I am still making other adjustments and repairs to the IC-746pro and should have everything ready to go in a week or so.
