In 2018, two years before his retirement, due to humiliation and dehumanization, he quit his job as a police officer to take up creating. He took up painting in February 2019.
He is a self-taught artist, charity activist, educator in painting techniques and art, but most of all, as he says of himself, he is a human being.
He is also a member of the Kwan Um Zen School in Poland.
In his work, he primarily seeks peace of mind and shares it through art as well as his life attitude.
In 2024 he won an honorable mention in a competition organized by the CCA “Signs of the Times” in Torun for his series “Umi no ue”.
His works are in private and institutional collections in Poland, Austria, Finland, Ireland, the UK, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal and China and the USA.
