Chimp Squashed
I brought this because i was going through a bit of difficulty in my life (marriage split etc.) and although i'd heard of it before my doctor reccomended i give it a read and squash my chimp. The book is aimed at looking at the way your emotions can override your common sense and address ways to deal with this, it's (i imagine) very like many other books, but approaches it from a more comedic approach, the chimp is your emotions and to 'manage' it you feed it banana's and massage its ego. I really enjoyed the book and have recommended it to a few friends as it's not just aimed at people like me who had a specific life issue, it's a good way of discovering more about yourself and realising why you do the things you do/say.
