Potential bidders from outside UK/EU/USA please get in touch before bidding to check we can accept your bid - it may not be economic/possible to ship via a Paypal-approved method to your country.
Buyers from outside the EU may incur customs/import taxes ('brokerage fees') on entry to their country. We have no control over these charges: they are the responsibility of the buyer - failure to pay will result in the items being returned to us: in these circumstances the cost of shipping both ways will be born by the customer. We are a registered export business so cannot falsify customs declarations.
We reserve the right to require payment by alternative method from buyers with low or negative feedback, or
without history showing previous instrument purchases, or
from countries outside UK/EU/USA.
If you are in any doubt, please get in touch before bidding.
Payment is required within 24 hours of auction end.
We accept Paypal (see exceptions above), cash on collection, bank transfer or cheques, but the item will not be sent until funds have cleared.
Please note that shipping fees are for guidance only - if you live in the further reaches of the EU or outside quoted areas, please get in touch for an exact quote.
We have earned - and value - our high perfect feedback score and want our buyers to be absolutely satisfied: please get in touch if you are not happy with your purchase.
Vintage electronics sometimes do not travel well, and couriers are less than careful: we will do our utmost to make sure this will arrive as it left us, but due to the delicate nature of vintage equipment, damage can occur in transit. Items will be shipped fully-insured and trackable and must be signed for as "unchecked". Insurance claims for damage are usually too lengthy to be practical - in the majority of cases it makes more sense for items to be returned for repair or refund, but we ask that customers retain original packaging and take photos or other documentary evidence as requested. We may request that a damage claim be made through the shipping insurance, not Paypal. It can sometimes be necessary to service/calibrate synths after shipping.
We are wise to parts-swapping scams and take all necessary precautions to protect ourselves: if you open/unscrew the case of any item without our prior agreement, we will not accept return under any circumstance.
We endeavour to ensure all equipment supplied is working correctly and safely (unless otherwise noted in the listing), but due to the nature of courier handling and vintage electronics we can accept no liability for loss once it leaves our hands. Any damage or loss arising in shipping will be recompensed via transit insurance and the buyer is expected to take all necessary action to facilitate the claims process. We cannot be held responsible for injury or loss arising from electrical fault or use/misuse.
If you have transaction history lower than 5 or have any negative feedback, please get in touch before bidding.
