You have to solve three mysteries to lead the girls to the person behind the blackmail. During your journey, characters will offer you important information and tips through a branching dialogue system that alters the conversation based on the questions you ask and your body language. For a break from mystery-solving, you can roller-skate, rollerblade, and skateboard to appointed tasks within a time limit in a selection of mini-games, or visit Hannah's secret wardrobe to pick an outfit and design clothing to share with friends in the game's wireless mode.
