2016 collection. The smooth vocal harmonies of the Johnny Mann singers played a big part in creating the sound of the ‘60s in America as heard on radio and television commercials. Mann composed and recorded signature jingles for numerous radio stations across the nation and created the music for hundreds of product commercials, becoming the leading West Coast source for advertising music that required a vocal group. During the early '60s, the Johnny Mann singers were, alongside Martin Denny and The Ventures, prolific members of the Liberty records stable. The Singers recorded 40 albums, earning them a few Grammy Awards along the way. Our edition comprises three mid-century concept albums, which showcase Johnny Mann's tremendous musical versatility and genius for arrangement; Night, with its controversial smoking nude packaging, and two exuberant sets which pay impressive tribute to the popular songs of the 1920s and '30s.

Item was advertised. Price average for the model. Packaging was a little let down as flat rate envelope used but box inside was completely crushed. Fortunately the plastic sprues were narrow so no major breaks. Shipping while a plus for being included was weirdly long. Ordered the same kit from the same seller 16 days later, arrived within two weeks. This one, ordered before the second kit arrived 6.5 weeks later. Not sure how that happened.

Price was average, shipping included and fairly quick for crossing a few oceans. Only drawback was flat bubble packing completely crushed the model box. Luckily, as far as I can tell the plastic sprue parts are narrow and didn't seem to have major damage. They just need to be a little safer on packing. Otherwise good.

I unfortunately have not watched it yet, because I wasn't paying attention that the item was region locked to the UK--my fault, not the seller. My bluray player is a US version. I have a region-free PS3 hidden away in a closet and would have to break it out to watch this movie. I don't think it ever got a US release on bluray so I'm just glad to have a copy. But the item itself was delivered on time and in great condition, so good on this seller!
