Good value Noise Reduction headphones
I brought these for use during train commuting, and they work pretty well, cutting out most of the constant high pitched noise but not so great on deep noises such as underground train rumble. Sound quality is pretty good, although not the greatest, and they are quite comfortable to wear, although my ears get hot after about an hour. Would recommend as a reasonably priced, pretty good noise reducing headphone, I am sure there are better performing ones, but much more expensive. I have not used on a plane yet, but reckon they should be OK for that too.

Great Bike Book
Not the latest but more than adequate for maintaining a normal bike, and much cheaper to buy. Fairly comprehensive and easy to follow.
