What a load of old cobblers!
Having watched the first series and having laughed at the deplorable acting (particularly John Hannah)and plot I felt further amusement was required so I bought the next series (Gods of The Arena) and I was not disappointed, John Hannahs acting was so so bad it was great! The only decent acting came from the actor portraying John Hannahs father. The language in both series was disgusting and the nudity overwhelmingly in bad taste. Bah Humbug is all I can say but I do hope they make a third series! I want another good laugh!Three cheers for John Hannah!

The Goodbye Girl
I'd been waiting years to get my hands on this wonderful film. The witty dialogue between the main characters of Dreyfuss and Mason is simply magic and stands the test of time! It's still as fresh in 2010 as it was in 1977 and indeed still will be in 2077! Truly magical! So, too, is the on-screen chemistry between Dreyfuss and Mason! Wonderful, too, is Neil Simon's screenplay. This is a "feel good" film and one (like "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers") you'll watch time and time again with a great big smile on your face! Before ending this review I must make mention of Dreyfuss' wonderful "camp" performance of Richard III - it was marvellously funny and will bring tears to your eyes! I urge everyone out there to watch this movie!
