Essential Phone PH-1 128GB - Black Moon (Unlocked) Smartphone + 360 Camera

Poor signal strength can be a big problem
This should be a great phone. It had a beautiful display, premium build quality and runs clean stock Android. Unfortunately, there is a serious design flaw that Essential refuses to acknowledge-the ceramic in the phone's body interferes with the phone signal. Using the same SIM in the same location in the PH-1, OP5 and Nexus 6P results in the PH-1 registering a signal that is weaker by 15-20dBm compared with the other two phones. So far I have tried the PH-1 on T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T and the signal has been lousy with all three networks. Essential support just asks for screenshots and sends network settings that don't help. The PH-1 can't be repaired because it isn't actually broken. Some seem to be fine with the phone but if you check threads on XDA, Google+ and Reddit you find that a lot of people ended up returning theirs because of the signal strength issues.

Fun movie
This Australian giant crocodile movie is pretty much everything you could hope for with this type of thing--it's funny, suspenseful and fast paced--and it features a scary mean killer croc during the final confrontation between hero and animal at the end. It's a shame that Dimension Pictures didn't give this a theatrical release, which was the original plan, but after the far inferior Primeval (another giant killer croc movie) tanked at the box office the studio dumped Rogue straight to video. I probably watched this movie 3 or 4 times on DVD and wasn't disappointed with the blu-ray, which I've already watched twice. Too bad Dimension isn't releasing their extreme titles in the USA on blu-ray and that you need to order this as an import from Canada, but I like the movie a lot and felt that it was worth the extra expense. Recommended.

Dreadful
I bought Baby On Board because of Heather Graham, but this was pretty nearly unwatchable. Horrible comedy tries to split the difference between 90's style Farrelly gross out humor and more recent Judd Apatow style character comedy (particularly Knocked Up) and fails miserably at both. You get lots of scatological humor involving projectile vomiting, farting and sexual organs that is painfully unfunny and characters who never seem even remotely like real people. Heather Graham mostly emerges with her dignity intact, which is saying something under the circumstances, but Baby On Board should be avoided.
