We also try to honor the original vintage & antique condition of period pieces & intervene & provide restorative treatments, only when absolutely needed. We also gently clean & thoughtfully refurbish what can be restored, without altering significantly the original intentions & desired appearance of an object's maker. We adhere to the principal of 'less-is-more' & the time-honored tenets of the German revolutionary school of design, the Bauhaus in the 1920's & 30's, where form & function were equally considered & seamlessly blended. I just opened the package today (which took a good while)! Great job with the packing!! The item looks great and is as advertised. It is a birthday present for my husband so he is the real expert. He loves Hampden Ale advertising so I think this will be well accepted. My Dad had one years and years ago so it is near and dear to me also.
