Great Emulation / Gaming PC
This Aliennware Alpha R2, configured as is was a great purchase. I am using it as an Emulation and Gaming PC, and so far it's been able to handle everything that I need it to.
The one thing to keep in mind is that because of the Desktop Class GTX 960 in this machine, it chucks out a fair bit of heat, and the GPU fan is constantly speeding up and slowing down to keep temperatures in check. If you have this in an entertainment center, or you're using headphones when you play, the noise won't be too bad.
I don't get very good wifi with this system, but the wifi card inside is easy to swap out. I may look into doing that in the future.
256GB of storage is definitely enough for an OS install and a few games, but you also have a SAA 2.5" drive mount on the bottom if you need to expand the storage. In total, you can have two drives internally, an m.2 stick and a regular notebook SATA drive, spinning or SSD.
On the whole, really pleased with it!

A Little Gem
Despite being an older CPU, it's still plenty fast for what I need it to do. I put a SSD into it and installed Batocera Linux on it and turned it into a fine little Retro Gaming PC.

Fantastic game!
