Dont expect to keep it warm!!!!
I like hot coffee. I use the 12 volt programmable mug set to 140 deg. the cord was always in the way so I tried this plate mug warmer. Did not even keep the coffee warm at all. plate feels hot but all coffee mugs seem to have a concave bottom so there is no direct contact for the heat to transfer. I threw it in the trash the first day and went back to the 12 volt one
