For the price you cant go wrong
I paid £5.99 for a new pair of AKG 44. Now at this price they were already a bargain but after actually using them i can't think of a better pair of cans!
I've had all sorts of headphones from Sony to Sennheiser and none of them sound as nice and clear as these. The highs are crisp and the mids and lows are fine. I have seen reviews on people moaning about not enough bass,but can't say i've had the same problem. They like all types of music from dance to country. I've had music running through them the past 4 days and must say they are getting an even better soundstage the more they are used.
They are also very comfy,i have worn them for hours with no headaches,they do make your ears sweat a little but thats only from prolonged use.
So to sum up they are comfy,sound excellent, and get better the more you use them. And for the price you can't come close with other cheap brands. Quality not quantity. These are 30 ohms not 16 so if your wanting headfry i suggest 16 ohms as the 30s might not take as much stick as the 16s.
